Listen people these are tough economic times and a lot of the sponsors that you see on the F1 cars today might not be there next year RBS, ING, Panasonic everyone has taken a beating. So in order to make it easier for current or new sponsors to participate there has to be a cap for spending simply because the money is not as abundant as it once was. Now the problem with Ferrari is that they don't like it. So now you have two choices go with Ferrari and end up with a hanfull of teams for next year or race without them and have around 20 teams. In the end Ferrari is going to race because what else are they going to do. Play golf!

I'm not anti Ferrari and I'm fully aware as to what they represent in F1. but times are hard and they need to bring in more teams to make this more exiting but the fact is that Ferrari is against the budget cap I guess they feel that they have to outspend everyone in order to win. The conclusion is that maybe Ferrari can go race by themselves while the rest of the teams can race without them. Sure it will not be the same but after Ferrari has a couple of races by themselves they will be back.

Well I don't have a problem with the KERS but I do with the diffusers because these cars were configured so that they could pass and still they can't. So they have spend tons of money changing the cars for nothing.

I strongly suggest that while F1 is still racing under the FIA every driver should have an attorney present at the race with suitcase and everything watching the monitors to protect their clients. And if there is a wrong call they can suit the FIA, Max, Bernie and the stewards.

I don't like to get into the debates about who is the best driver because it depends on a lot of things. There are many great drivers in F1 and for sure Alonso is one of them. He is a very smart tenacious and very focused on winning. What more do you want?

I don't care for that track because you can't pass and if you do it would be a very bold move that can put you on the barriers. Like my name I like fastracks where you can pass and be repass, that to me is racing. I don't like follow the leader and pass on the pits because of strategy. To me that is not what racing is about.

It's true what atec_racer says about F1 drivers not doing well in the saloon racing and DTM series. But that is not to say that maybe something could be created for them instead of just hanging around and doing nothing for the money they get paid now days.

I see every year people complaint about Bernie and Mad Max but the way I see it is that nothing is going to change until people stop watching F1 for just a year. I know it's hard because we love it, but imagine the repercussions this would have with the sponsors. Then they will use their muscles to get rid of Bernie and Max. This year I'm only going to watch two races because I know if everyone did the same Bernie and Max would be gone by the following year. Everything on TV land lives on ratings. That is their oxygen.

That is a very low blow specialy for teams like McLaren Williams and so on that have been in F1 for a long time. This man gets more senile by the day. It is time for this guy to get out of F1 or the other teams to start forming their own series. The problem is that most people in the series are gutless.

Perhaps Bernie can tell us what team he has in mind for Button. All the top teams have their drivers locked for 2009 beyond that I don't know. The only team that comes to my mind would be McLaren and he would have to take a drastic paycut. It seems to me that all along everyone has known who gets what and so on and now Bernie wants to rattle the cage. I personally think that everyone should get paid the same but at the same time if this is going to cause a split I rather leave it alone because Ferrari is F1.

I personaly have allways liked the tracks were cars can be passed and right now F1 is racing in about three places that you can't pass. In the meantime Monaco is still one of them. So maybe with the new package for next year they will be able to put a suicide pass on each other wile racing in Monaco or the other sites.

True that Shumacher won the title seven times but I also rember that the Ferraris in all those years had no competition and Barichelo was not alowed to win. As we will learn more when Barichelo decides to tell the whole story as to what when on when he was there. Still Scumacher was a great champion no doubt about it but perhaps also a very lucky man.

I think you are right heasdshed if Alonso was to sign with Honda I think that Rubens would make a very good partner with him. Remember when he was at Ferrari how well he worked with Michael. Another bad call from the stewards in F1 I'm talking about the penalty given to Boudais because of Massa driving into him. Bourdais had no where to go inside and still they blame him for the damage instead of the cry baby Massa. It is horrible what is going on in F1 now days.
