Grosjean: Good to be back at the front

Romain Grosjean is expecting an "interesting" Hungarian GP after securing his maiden front row starting position.

At the start of this season, his first full year in Formula One, Grosjean achieved three second row slots in the first six races.

However, since then his Saturday performances slumped just a tad with only one P4 in the next four events.

That changed, though, on Saturday wheh the Lotus driver qualified second for Sunday's 70-lap Hungarian Grand Prix.

"It is good to be back at the front," he said.

"I think it was a lot of things together. I think in the last two races we were not where we had to be.

"We had some signs that things were not going as we wanted. The car was not handling as it should.

"So I think being second is a bit of a surprise after we struggled, but we improved lap after lap and I think this helped us."

The Frenchman is now eagerly anticipating Sunday's grand prix where he could challenge for his first-ever F1 victory.

"We had a difficult race in Germany but I am glad we have been able to improve here," he added.

"I think tomorrow is going to be interesting."
