Four DNFs after four races are not the sort of statistics Sebastian Vettel wanted to read so early into the new season.
The German failed to complete a single lap in Australia, Bahrain and Spain because of collisions while a mechanical failure in Malaysia saw him complete only 39 laps.
The Toro Rosso driver admits he couldn't believe his bad luck when he was once again forced off the track in Spain.
"I shouted a big swearword into the radio," he told Autosport.
"Of course I was p***** off. Not disappointed - p***** off! But what can you do?"
Vettel hopes the team will finally start to reap the benefits for their hard work.
"Usually I don't believe in luck, I only believe in hard work," he said.
"We worked hard the last four races, and all winter, and it did not yet pay off. So we have to keep waiting I guess.
"It is going to be tough (in Turkey) without the new car, but we have to do the best we can."
